Boy have we been busy the past couple of weeks. Connor turned 8 months old, we took him to his first Carolina Cup (steeplechase in SC that we go to every year with family), and Connor had his tubes put in and his tongue clipped. Connor did great with the surgery. He was pretty fussy waking up from the anesthesia which is to be expected, but after some milk and TLC he was ready to go. By the afternoon he was ready to play.
Last Thursday we picked up Mimmie and Grandpa and headed to VA Beach for a retirement ceremony for an old friend of Todd's. It was great to be back in VA and we were able to show Connor off to some friends that we hadn't seen in awhile. Connor did fantastic on the trip and I know he enjoyed his time with Mimmie and Grandpa. We even stopped in to see the Easter Bunny.
I hope everyone has a Blessed Easter. We will be going to church and then heading over to see Mimmie and Grandpa for Easter Lunch.

Hi! thanks for the link to BabyGoodBuys. Your blog is so cute, and I have an 8-month old, too! His tongue was clipped in the hospital when he was a few days old, then again when he was about 2 months. After the second procedure, everything improved :)
